Let’s talk about how to get to the Shard. It’s a challenge, but it’s not overwhelming. You’ll have to fight a lot of low-level enemies to get to your objective. This mission takes you to the Shard of the Traveler.

When you’re done talking, pull up the Director and select Earth - this will take you to your mission. Just like in the first Destiny, its only function is to let you get from the hub to missions. The ship isn’t really anything you’ll work with. She’ll give you a mission - basically just letting you go wander around on your own - and give you a ship. Talk to Suraya HawthorneĬheck with your Ghost again, and you’ll see that the red icon has moved to Hawthorne (and Louis) up on the balcony on the barn. She’ll also warn you against doing what you’re about to do. She’ll remind you about your new mortality (thanks!) and give you a piece of class-based equipment. Head toward the red one - this indicates the person you need to talk to to progress the mission. Three of them are green and one of them is red.

If you pull up your Ghost, there are four icons on your screen that point to the various people you can talk to here. (And you’re going to come right back here after, so don’t worry about missing anything.) Talk to Tyra Karn In “Spark,” you only have to do two things. The farm is your hub in Destiny 2 - you’ll find vendors, other Guardians and entrances to other game modes here.
